Next Steps for Your Annual Shop Training Package
Thank you for purchasing the Annual Shop Training Package! Here’s a simple, step-by-step guide to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
1) Schedule Your Facility Walkthrough
To get started, schedule your virtual facility walkthrough with our OSHA-authorized trainer by contacting greg@XXXXXX.
What you’ll need:
- Zoom installed on your phone or tablet (download here: [Zoom Link]).
- A quiet time when you won’t be needed to assist customers.
- Approximately 30-45 minutes for the walkthrough.
During the walkthrough, our trainer will observe your facility layout, station setups, and operational flow to customize your training program.
2) Customized Training Development
After the walkthrough, our trainer will compare your facility’s layout and operations to the information in your Exposure Control Infection Prevention Plan (ECIPP) to create a site-specific training program.
Turnaround Time: Expect this to be completed within 1 week of your walkthrough.
3) Schedule Your Annual Live Training
Once your custom training is ready, it’s time to schedule your Annual Live Training Session for all staff.
What you’ll need to do:
- Choose a date and time when all staff can attend the live session.
- Submit the email addresses of all staff members who require Bloodborne Pathogen Certificates.
What to expect during the training session:
- Duration: 2-3 hours.
- Technology Requirements:
- A stable internet connection.
- Zoom installed on a device with a good-quality speaker so all staff can see and hear clearly.
- We strongly recommend that each attendee has their own device.
- Depending on your equipmnent, you may want to play audio from a single device or have attendee also use headphones so there is not feedback on the audio.
During the session, the trainer will review your customized safety protocols and provide the training necessary for Bloodborne Pathogens certification.
Post-Training Certification:
Depending on your shop’s local requirements, staff will receive an email with a link to complete the final test and obtain their Bloodborne Pathogens Training Certificates.
